Antonino Frenna founds Excavation Frenna in Montreal.
Founded in 1998 by Antonino Frenna, Excavation Frenna is a family-run Montreal company. Today his son Giancarlo has joined the team — two generations, one commitment to work done right.
In 1998, Antonino Frenna started the company on a simple idea: a beautiful paver surface, smooth asphalt or a wall that holds up over time is won first below the surface. Clean excavation, a compacted granular base and proper drainage — that's where he built his reputation.
Year after year, he invested in his own equipment — excavators and dump trucks — to keep every step under one roof and stay accountable for it. From the first cut to the final finish, the same crew stands behind the quality.
The next generation has arrived: Antonino's son Giancarlo has joined the business. He grew up around the job sites and is learning the trade where it counts — with both feet in the base.
Same name, same standard — just one more generation to carry it. Giancarlo is already hands-on across the company:
